Eventide UltraTap

The Eventide UltraTap is a fairly unique pedal effect that continues the brand's lineage set by the Black Hole reverb effect. It offers an inexhaustible supply of impressive sounds of rhythmic multi-tap delay effects, rich reverbs, even keyboard fade-in effects (volume swells) and added tremolo or chorus modulation effects. Using the primary and secondary function controls, you can adjust even the finest details within the effects modulation (from effect ramp to decay, pedal response to the dynamics of your playing, etc.).
A cross-section of the effect's sonic possibilities is offered by five built-in presets. Software updates can be uploaded via USB from the Eventide Device Manager (EDM) application, where you can browse and select from a much larger sound database of presets. Use the Mini USB interface or a MIDI to TRS patch cable or MIDI converter to connect the MicroPitch Delay to MIDI devices (127 presets can be worked with via MIDI). The pedal's Active Footswitch operates in Latch or Momentary modes, the second switch offers a tap tempo function. A useful feature is certainly the input for an external expression pedal, to which any combination of parameters can be assigned and the character of the sound can be changed in real time by changing the position of the pedal.

Adjust the Guitar/Line Level switch to optimize the pedal for working with guitars, synthesizers, effects loops or DAW interfaces. The bypass circuitry works in Buffered, Relay, DSP+FX or Kill dry modes. The pedal is powered by a 9V adapter (200mA /Center Negative) - not included.
