The mahogany body of the TE-1000ET KOA NATURAL GLOSS features a fancy Hawaiian koa top and gloss lacquer finish. A three-piece maple neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. the neck recessed deeper into the body, is joined by a Makassar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position dots.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled metal/core riffs. Standard adjustments include volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to split the neck pickup coils to change the character of the humbucker to single-coil in seconds.
Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by the string mounts in the company's locking tuning machines and Evertune model F tailpiece, which compensates for string pull when plucking and sharper playing, ensuring the guitar stays in tune in all conditions.
