SN-1000 electric guitars in Super ST Snapper design are part of the LTD Deluxe series, which represents the best of LTD production. The sound, design, craftsmanship and playability of the instruments in this series fully stand up to comparison with more expensive "high-end" guitars.
The body of the SN-1007 BARITONE HT FIREBLAST seven-string guitar is made of swamp ash. A five-piece maple and purpleheart neck is glued to a bolt-on ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets (the fretboard is selectable between frets 17-24). The variable fingerboard radius allows for both comfortable riff playing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions. The longer baritone menorah helps the guitar with tuning stability even with more pronounced undertones.
Two active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers with ceramic and Alnico magnets give the guitar a great dynamic sound (without any accompanying noise) with precise articulation of individual notes/chords and a good amount of punch/aggressiveness when needed. The push/pull tone shutter function allows you to switch between voicings - so the guitar's sonic arsenal is much wider than it might first appear. A three-position pickup switch completes the controls as standard.
Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the LTD locking mechanisms and through the fixed Hipshot pickguard through the guitar body. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the black bone fretboard, black pickguard and black hardware.
