ESP LTD SH-207 FM STP is a more affordable seven-string signature model of Brian "Head" Welch from American nu-metal band Korn.
The mahogany body of the instrument is decorated with a spectacular veneer of flamed maple. A three-piece maple neck with a narrow, fast Extra Thin U profile is bolted to a fingerboard made from heat-treated roasted jatoba, also known as Brazilian cherry, and fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers.
Two passive company humbuckers with high output signal provide the guitar with the necessary drive. The character of the sound can be adjusted as standard using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch. The strings are held in the company's tuning machines and a solid bridge with string anchoring through the body. The stylish look is accentuated by the See Thru Purple body and headstock color scheme and black hardware.
