ESP LTD ROYAL SHIVA SILVER SUNBURST electric guitar in original double-cut design is a signature model of guitarist Bill Keliher from American rock band Mastodon.
The mahogany body and maple top (maple cap) are decorated with a spectacular Silver Sunburst finish. The three-piece mahogany neck is glued to a Macassar ebony fingerboard with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by large mother-of-pearl position blocks.
Two signature MojoTone Hell Bender humbuckers with nickel caps and a mix of ceramic and Alnico 2 and 5 magnets give the guitar both a raw dynamic sound and articulate open clean tones. The guitar's sonic arsenal is expanded by the push/pull functions of both potentiometers, which change the humbuckers' sound to single-coil in seconds. A three-position pickup switch completes the controller setup as standard.
The strings are mounted in the company's quality locking mechanisms and via a Tonepros Locking TOM tailpiece in the stringer. The stylish finish is accentuated by white body, fingerboard and headstock binding, nickel hardware and a black multi-ply pickguard.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
