ESP LTD JL-600 BLKS is a signature model of Jeff Ling, guitarist of Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive.
The body of the guitar is made of alder. A three-piece maple neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. the neck recessed deeper into the body, and a narrow, fast Extra Thin U profile is joined by a Makasar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Position dots and side luminescent markers make it easy to navigate its surface, giving you perfect visibility even in dark corners of the stage.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled metal/core riffs. The strings are held in quality locking company mechanics and a solid Tonepros Locking TOM bridge with string anchoring through the body. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the black body color and hardware.
