It is a "V" in pure metal black and red design. The guitar's construction consists of mahogany body wings, a wider maple top (maple cap) and a three-piece through mahogany neck. Twenty-two Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets divide the ebony fingerboard surface. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by position blocks at the imitation mother-of-pearl in a special design.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Two volume potentiometers are used to adjust the sound, and a push/pull function allows you to unzip the humbucker coils to achieve a single-coil sound.
The strings are mounted in high-quality Grover tuning machines and a Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever. The guitar comes in a case.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, has been formed to offer popular models in an affordable option. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
