The EC-1000 electric guitars with the characteristic rock LP body shape are part of the LTD Deluxe series. The mahogany body of the EC-1000T FM BLKNB is adorned with a maple top and a spectacular veneer of flamed maple with a distinctive wood grain. This is a solid-bodied guitar with the standard thickness of traditional LP models, but the chambering makes it lighter, which you and your spine will appreciate after extended playing. A three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, and a narrower fast Thin U profile is joined by an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation around its surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two passive humbuckers from the respected Seymour Duncan brand give the guitar the necessary sonic drive and great articulation - making the instrument suitable for a wide range of musical genres. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to split the pickup coils and change the character of the humbuckers to single-coil in seconds.
The strings are held in quality locking company mechanics and a solid Tonepros Locking TOM tailpiece and stringer.
