The EC-1000 electric guitars with the characteristic rock LP body shape are part of the LTD Deluxe series. The mahogany body of the EC-1000ET FM SEE THRU BLACK is adorned with a maple top and a spectacular veneer of flamed maple with a distinctive wood grain. A three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, is joined by an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two Seymour Duncan passive humbuckers provide the sound with a balanced balance of aggression and warmth, as well as the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chordal breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to split the pickup coils and change the character of the humbuckers to single-coil in seconds.
Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Grover tuning machines and Evertune model F tailpiece, which compensates for string tension during plucking and sharper playing, ensuring the guitar stays in tune in all conditions.
