ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company LTD was created to offer popular models in an affordable version. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components. The body of this guitar is made of mahogany and the neck is glued to it, consisting of three pieces of mahogany wood. The neck is fitted with an ebony fingerboard and twenty-four extra jumbo frets. The gauge of the instrument corresponds to 629 mm, the zero fret is 42 mm wide.
The sound pickup is handled by two EMG humbuckers, which can be controlled by volume potentiometers for each pickup and a tone shutter. There is also a three-position switch. With this configuration, you can set the guitar to the sound you want, whatever your preferences.
The strings are mounted in a stringguard and pass through a solid Tonepros headstock. The tuning machines are fitted with locks to prevent the strings from moving while winding and tuning.
