The EC-1000 electric guitars with the characteristic rock LP body shape are part of the LTD Deluxe series, which represents the best of LTD production. The sound, design, craftsmanship and playability of the instruments in this series fully stand up to comparison with more expensive "high-end" guitars.
The mahogany body of the EC-1000 BLACK FLUENCE is decorated with gloss black lacquer and bright contrasting trim. A three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. the neck recessed deeper into the body, is joined by an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. The position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
Two active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers with ceramic and Alnico magnets give the guitar a great dynamic sound (without any accompanying noise) with precise articulation of individual notes/chords and, if needed, a sufficient amount of punch/aggressiveness. The pickups can be switched between via a three-position switch, and the push/pull function of the volume knob allows you to switch between voicings - the guitar's sonic arsenal is much wider than it might at first appear.
Stable tuning and quick string changes are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings in the LTD locking mechanisms and through the Tonepros Locking TOM string in the stringers. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by the gold hardware.
