The B series instruments are in a way the flagship of ESP-LTD bass production. This bass is constructed with a solid lime body to which a maple neck is bolted. The gauge of the instrument is a standard 864 mm, the fingerboard features 24 XJ frets, and the width of the zero fret is measured at 43 mm. The neck profile corresponds to the Thin U, so it is a very comfortable and fast neck.

The instrument is equipped with two single-coil pickups, to which active electronics are attached. Both are made by ESP, thanks to these electronics it is no problem to set up exactly the right sound that will easily push through the band's sound.

The strings are anchored through the body via an ESP DB-5 bridge. On the other side, they go through a standard zero fret into the mechanics, which are also made by ESP. This setup ensures great vibration transfer from the strings to the body, and therefore a solid tonal tone and long sustain. Stability of tuning is a matter of course. The hardware is in chrome finish. A practical nylon case is also included.
