The ESP E-II series are electric guitars made in factories in Japan, forming a bridge between the top ESP USA models and the more affordable LTD line. These are instruments made with quality materials and components that not only look great, but sound great too.
The guitars, with their modern Super ST shape and M (Mirage) designation, are easily identified by their flat top body and pointed headstock with 6-in-line mechanics. The alder body of the E-II M-II Black Natural Burst guitar is adorned with a fancy puff maple top and bright binding. A three-piece maple neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, is joined by an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers and an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two Bare Knuckle Aftermath active humbuckers provide a modern twist to the instrument's sound with amplified bass response, punchy mids and precise tonal articulation in the treble. Controls in the form of volume potentiometers, tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch offer complete control over the sound of the pickups. Push/pull tone shutter function can be used to change the sonic character of the humbucker to single-coil.
The strings are anchored by Gotoh's locking tuning machines and a Floyd Rose Original SE tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever. The stylish workmanship is underlined by the gold hardware.
