The ESP E-II series are electric guitars made in factories in Japan, forming a bridge between the top ESP USA models and the more affordable LTD line. These are instruments made with quality materials and components that not only look great, but sound great too.
The ESP E-II Eclipse EMG/BLKS is an electric guitar with a traditional single-cut (LP) design. The mahogany body of the guitar is decorated with a solid maple top (maple cap) and a Snow White Satin finish. The mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deep into the body, is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks and ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing the density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Thanks to the push/pull function of the volume potentiometers, you can split the humbucker coils and change the character of the sound purely to single-coil.
The strings are anchored in Gotoh's locking mechanics and Gotoh's TOM tailpiece and stringer.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
