Epiphone's Les Paul electric guitars have been a more affordable alternative to Gibson originals for decades. The Les Paul Modern Figured line offers instruments that reflect the needs of today's guitarists for playing comfort and flexibility.
The lightweight mahogany body of the Les Paul Modern Figured Caffe Latte Fade model is adorned with a AAA-quality flamed maple top veneer and an impressive tinted finish. Glued to the mahogany neck with a comfortable asymmetrical profile is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. The shaped neck foot makes it easy to play even at the highest positions of the fingerboard, and position blocks make it easier to navigate the fingerboard.
Two factory ProBucker humbuckers with Alnico II magnets successfully emulate the sound of PAF pickups. They give the guitar a full, warm tone that you'll appreciate with both clean and rock-distorted sound. The guitar's sonic arsenal is expanded by the push/pull functions of the potentiometers, where you can change the humbuckers' sound to a single-coil character (coil-split) in seconds, plus you can plug the pickups (at the center switch position) out of phase (phase switching). The Treble Bleed circuit ensures that bass frequencies are not accentuated and the tone is not degraded when the volume potentiometers are turned down.
Fast and accurate tuning and good sustain are ensured by the high quality Grover 18:1 gear ratio and Locktone stringers. The stylish look is accentuated by the body surround, black pickguard and logo on the headstock.
