Epiphone Les Paul electric guitars are a more affordable alternative to the original Gibson logo. And that's also the case with the brand's limited edition Les Paul Custom Figured Transparent Blue model.
The guitar's mahogany body is adorned with a AAA-quality maple veneer top and a Transparent Blue finish. The mahogany neck with a pleasing Slim Taper C profile is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl.
Two factory ProBucker humbuckers with Alnico II magnets successfully emulate the sound of PAF pickups. They give the guitar a full, warm tone that you'll appreciate with both clean and rock-distorted sound. Its character can be adjusted as standard with two volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. Waxing the pickups ensures satisfying playing without annoying feedback and hum.
Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in Grover Rotomatic mechanisms with 18:1 gear ratio and through the LockTone TOM bridge in the strings. The stylish finish is accentuated by the double-sided body binding, black pickguard and company logo on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
