Epiphone electric guitars are a more affordable alternative to the original Gibson logo guitars. The Flying V Ebony model from the Inspired by Gibson series returns to the design of the popular 1958 "V".
The body of the guitar is made of mahogany. The neck is also mahogany with a "SlimTaper C" profile and is glued to a fig fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position dots make it easy to navigate its surface.
Two factory ProBucker humbuckers with Alnico II magnets successfully emulate the sound of PAF pickups. They give the guitar a full, warm tone that you'll appreciate with both clean and rock-distorted sound. Its character can be adjusted as standard with two volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch. Waxing the pickups ensures satisfying playing without annoying feedback and hum.
Stable tuning is ensured by string attachment via the zero fret (Graph Tech NuBone) in the company's tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio and a solid LockTone headstock with string anchoring through the body. The stylish design is accentuated by nickel hardware and a white four-ply pickguard.
