The poplar body with its fine finish and mahogany veneer top gives the impression of light wear and tear, giving the guitar a certain charm of nostalgia. The comfortable mahogany D-profile neck with a 628 mm gauge features a rosewood fingerboard fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by mother-of-pearl markers. Fast and reliable tuning is ensured by the Epiphone Premium sealed mechanics and the fully adjustable Locktone Tune-o-matic fingerboard. A black pickguard protects the instrument's lacquer from scratches caused by pick playing. The "Les Paul" logo on the headstock completes the overall vintage look.
The warm sound is provided by the classic 700T and 650R open humbuckers. Traditional overall volume and tone controls and a three-position pickup switch ensure perfect control over the resulting tone character.
