The Epiphone Adam Jones Art Collection is a limited edition Silverburst Les Paul Custom electric guitar embellished with reproductions of artists chosen for you by Tool guitarist Adam Jones. Each of the seven collector's edition guitars is available in quantities of 800 for the worldwide market.
The mahogany body with maple top of the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection electric guitar features a glossy Silverburst finish and "Self Portrait as Not Dead Yet" by contemporary American artist Julie Heffernan. Glued to the three-piece maple neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by position blocks.
The Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucker and the Epiphone ProBucker Custom neck humbucker, installed in reverse, give the guitar a great dynamic sound, which will be appreciated by players of hard and heavy styles, as well as the characteristic "out-of-phase" sound at the middle position of the switch, thanks to the non-standard neck humbucker.
The strings are mounted in chrome-plated vintage-style gears with a 16:1 gear ratio, and through a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge in the stringer. The styling is accentuated by the body, headstock and fingerboard binding.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
