The Elektron Octatrack could be described as a sampler on steroids. Once you've tamed it, you can chew through any sample in such a way that you'll have trouble putting your lower jaw back in its original place. Everything has been designed with live playing in mind, so you can record samples in real time, stretch them, change their keys, add effects or juggle them with the adjustable crossfader. The built-in sequencer can play both internal audio and external MIDI peripherals, and the entire processor can also be used as a compact mixer for your entire set-up.

The Limited Edition also features a specially designed 32GB CF card loaded with countless exclusive artistic content from professional musicians and Octatrack synth users. The card contains up to 700 MB of samples from artists such as Andreas Tilliander, Skinnerbox, Jogging House, Headless Horseman, Inhalt, and Arc Rae.
