The Oceans 12 pedal effect is the bigger and more powerful brother of the Oceans 11 from the American Electro Harmonix brand. It is a complex reverb that offers two separate reverb effect circuits with the possibility of their simultaneous use in mono and stereo, twelve reverb effect subsets with 2-3 mods in each section, the ability to save and recall 24 presets, an effect loop (in mono connection) with pre/post reverb settings, input for an external controller (footswitch, expression pedal) and a number of useful functions (tap tempo, momentary/infinite sustain, tails).
The sonic character of the selected effect can be adjusted using the four main controls determining the dry/wet signal ratio, EQ (Tone), the duration of the reverb effect (Time) and the delay of its onset (Pre-Delay). Two small knobs next to the Reverb Type control adjust the settings of specific parameters depending on the selected effect subgroup (see the main effect panel). When using/layering both effects simultaneously (in Dual mode), these knobs determine their serial/parallel connection and A/B B/A order in the signal chain.
All pedal electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. Oceans 12 is wired as a buffered bypass. The included 9V adapter is used to power the effect.
