Intelligent Harmony Machine is a guitar harmonizer and pitch shifter in the form of a compact pedal effect from the American brand Electro Harmonix, which thanks to perfect tracking and great musical tone allows you to instantly change the tuning and create harmonies to the currently played motifs, in two modes - in Intelligent Harmony mode and Polyphonic Override mode. In all scales, different intervals (downward and upward) and combinations thereof.
The Intelligent Harmony mod generates harmonies based on the individual notes played in the scale (major or minor) and interval set on the 11-position controller (Interval Select). In Polyphonic Override mode, the box is capable of generating polyphonic harmonies based on both played notes and chords (depending on the setting of the 11-position switch, the functions in IH and Polyphonic modes differ). The Momentary button and the eponymous mode allow you to create harmonies/change tunings just by holding/pressing the footswitch. Use the Mix knob to set the desired dry/wet signal ratio. In addition, you can send the clean and processed signal separately to the two mono outputs (Out, Dry out).
All electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. The box is wired as a buffered bypass. Power is supplied by the included 9V adapter or 9V battery.
