The Bass Mono Synth pedal effect from Electro-Harmonix (EHX) turns your bass into eleven great-sounding synths - from vintage synth emulations to full layered surfaces to the pulsating sounds of more modern gear. A definite plus is the simple design and intuitive pedal controls that will have you mastering the functions in no time.
The basic selection of the type of synth you'll be working with at any given time is made using the Type rotary control. Adjusting the other potentiometers determines the volume of the clean and processed signal at the Dry Out and Synth Out outputs (Dry Vol, Synth Vol) and the degree to which the synth sound is affected by the dynamics of your playing (Sens). The CTRL control can be used to set a key parameter for each of the eleven synth sounds. Each of these sounds has an additional parameter that can be controlled using the expression pedal (not included).
Saving, editing and opening your favourite settings/presets can be done in Preset mode, which is accessed simply by pressing the Preset switch followed by the LED indication changing from green to red. One user preset is available for each of the eleven sounds.
All pedal electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. The box operates in buffered bypass mode. Power is supplied by the included 9V adapter.
