Edifier MR4 are small active professional listening monitors.
Professionally tuned to work with music
Following precise analysis of the unit's characteristics by the German KLIPPEL system, the flat frequency response that is essential for a listening monitor has been obtained after dozens of professional tunings in the Edifier acoustic laboratory.
Deep bass for more detail in the low frequencies
Thanks to the 4" woofer with MICA material and Class D amplifier support, the frequency can be reduced down to 60 Hz, fully realizing the remarkable low frequency performance. A high-frequency transducer with a 1" silk diaphragm with special coating ensures smooth and natural highs. A specially designed front panel combined with a cone delivers clearer high frequency dispersion.
Working with professional equipment
With symmetrical input connectors, the MR4 studio monitor can be connected to a sound card, mixing console and other professional equipment with +4 dBu input sensitivity to create a small system for music production.
Digital Signal Processor
The MR4 uses TI's high-quality analog-to-digital converter (ADC) chipset with SNR up to 99 dB, coupled with TI's TAS5713 digital power amplifier and utilizing built-in DSP for complete audio editing to ensure superior dual-mode performance.
Less resonance
The MR4 uses MDF wood construction to reduce resonance and diffraction.
Two listening modes
With a special dual-mode sound effect, the user can select the monitor mode to listen to the sound you produce as part of a music production, or switch to the music mode for everyday listening.
Easy to use and operate
Turn the multi-function knob on the front to adjust the volume, long press on/off and double click to switch between audio modes.
No connection restrictions
In addition to the symmetrical TRS input, the MR4 also has two asymmetrical RCA/AUX inputs and a front headphone output, allowing you to conveniently connect to different devices simultaneously and switch to headphone output monitoring mode.
