Double bass preamplifier / HN223589
This unique preamplifier for acoustic bass was created in collaboration with bass matador Stanley Clarke. Inside this two-channel preamp you'll find premium components that give you professional sound quality, and it can handle other instruments besides the double bass. You have two channels, equipped with 10 ohm resistor inputs, which will guarantee great functionality with both active and passive or piezo pickups. Each channel then features a separate control for Gain, hi-pass/notch filter, three-band EQ with selectable center frequencies or a common volume control.
Channel A can also be used with electret pickups, while Channel B is equipped with phantom power, allowing the use of both dynamic and condenser microphones. The channels can be used both separately and simultaneously. In that case, you will appreciate the phase switch, which prevents unwanted feedback.
Of course, the pedal also offers flexible connectivity - in addition to the standard output, you'll also find a separate tuner output, an effects loop with switchable parallel function, a balanced XLR output with studio-quality sound and speaker simulation, an aux input or a headphone output for comfortable practice. All this in a compact package that you can conveniently carry around in your instrument case.
