Eastman T59 TV

The Eastman Strings brand was founded in 1992 by Chinese flutist Qian Ni after graduating from the Boston University School of Music. Over the course of three decades, the company's portfolio has grown to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and electric guitars (Eastman Guitars) and with it the brand's fame, so that the company's players include such luminaries as James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers), Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth). In the case of Eastman instruments, you can rely on superior craftsmanship, demonstrated by features and techniques such as hand-reduced ribbing or individual tuning of the instrument's soundboard.

The Eastman T59/TV is a semi-hollowbody electric guitar in the style of the popular ES-335 "thinline" models, which is sure to appeal to players with high demands on workmanship and sound quality.

The guitar's body, with a standard 16-inch width, is made of laminated veneered maple. An ebony fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets is glued to a maple neck with a pleasing "C" profile. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearl position blocks (Split Blocks).

Two boutique vintage humbuckers from the renowned Seymour Duncan brand with Alnico 2 magnets and authentic aged/patina features give the guitar the pure sound of the coveted PAF humbuckers, which you'll appreciate in a wide range of musical styles - from jazz, country and blues to modern rock. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls.

The strings are mounted in Gotoh SD90-Relic tuning machines and through a Gotoh GE104B-Relic bridge in the stringers. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the glossy body lacquer with a subtle hint of patina (Truetone Vintage Gloss), double-sided body, fingerboard and headstock in imitation ivory, black lined pickguard, hardware with subtle patina elements (Relic Nickel) and pearl company logo on the headstock.
