Eastman SB58 TV-LTD-FB

The Eastman Strings brand was founded in 1992 by Chinese flutist Qian Ni after graduating from the Boston University School of Music. Over the course of three decades, the company's portfolio has grown to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and electric guitars (Eastman Guitars) and with it the brand's fame, so that the company's players include such luminaries as James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers), Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth). In the case of Eastman instruments, you can rely on superior craftsmanship, demonstrated by features and techniques such as hand-reduced ribbing or individual tuning of the instrument's soundboard.

The Eastman SB58/TV-LTD-FB is an electric guitar in a single-cut "LP" design from the brand's limited edition line. The guitar features a one-piece mahogany body with a solid carved maple top. The top is decorated with a gloss lacquer with a subtle hint of patina (Truetone Vintage Gloss) and a Faded Blue finish. The one-piece mahogany neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard with twenty-two frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearl position blocks (Pearl Crowns).

A Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial humbucker and a P90 neck pickup in a soapbar design (Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Soapbar P-90) give the guitar the clean, warm and dynamic sound of 1950s PAF pickups as well as the full yet articulate sound of larger single-coil pickups from the late 1950s, which will excel in rock, blues and a wide range of other musical genres. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls. The strings are mounted in Gotoh tuning machines and through a Gotoh GE-104B-NI Relic bridge in the same brand of string. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the imitation ivory top and fingerboard binding, hardware with subtle patina elements (Antique Nickel) and pearl company logo on the headstock.
