The Eastman Strings brand was founded in 1992 by Chinese flutist Qian Ni after graduating from the Boston University School of Music. Over the course of three decades, the company's portfolio has grown to include acoustic, semi-acoustic and electric guitars (Eastman Guitars) and with it the brand's fame, so that the company's players include such luminaries as James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers), Adrian Utley (Portishead) and Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth). In the case of Eastman instruments, you can rely on superior craftsmanship, demonstrated by features and techniques such as hand-reduced ribbing or individual tuning of the instrument's soundboard.

The Eastman AR580CE-HB is a lube electric guitar that is sure to appeal to players with high standards of workmanship and sound quality.

The front of the guitar is made of solid spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated veneered maple. A three-piece maple neck with a pleasing "C" profile is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty Medium Jumbo frets. The lower body cutaway (Venetian Cutaway) ensures easy matching at the higher positions of the fingerboard, while the pearl position blocks (Split Blocks) facilitate orientation on the fingerboard.

The Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup with Alnico 5 magnet provides the guitar with a clear, warm and dynamic sound that will be appreciated not only by jazz guitarists. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls. The strings are mounted in the tuning machines of the renowned Gotoh brand and over an adjustable ebony fingerboard in the stringers (ebony/brass). The fine workmanship is accentuated by the gloss lacquer body (Truetone Gloss), maple double-sided body, fingerboard and headstock, ebony pickguard with maple trim, gold hardware and mother-of-pearl company logo on the headstock.
