Rainbow Machine is a guitar effect that will appeal to all sound experimenters, adventurers and noise makers. Certainly don't expect "natural" sounds, Rainbow Machine offers nothing of the sort - on the contrary, thanks to digital technology (oscillators) it allows you to create impressive pitch-shifting modulations in real time, i.e. modulations with a change of tuning.

The setting of the Pitch control determines the frequency of the polyphonic harmony (or discord), and in the neutral setting the box offers the sound of a chorus effect. The Primary knob works as a volume control for the polyphonic harmony. Tracking determines the delay (lag) between the dry and wet signal, the Tone knob is an EQ, Secondary adds an octave effect (downward and upward) to the basic harmony, and with the Magic knob you can try out how magical or strange the Rainbow Machine effect can be.

The Pitch control parameter can be controlled via an external expression pedal. The guitar effect switcher offers a momentary function in addition to the classic latch on/off mode, the effect is only active for the time the switch is pressed. The pedal is wired as true bypass (relay-based switching, no audio signal passes through without a source). A 9V adapter is used for power supply.
