Earthquaker Devices Hizumitas

Guitar Effect / HN239427
The Hizumitas guitar effect was designed for the guitarist Wata of the famous Japanese band Boris. It is a fuzz/sustainer that faithfully captures the sound of the Elk BM Sustainar dirt pedal that Wata has used for many years and was a staple in her pedalboard. Adjusting the box's three controls determines output volume, distortion/sustain intensity and tone character (bass, treble).

The pedal is wired as true bypass (relay-based switching, no audio signal passes through without a source). A 9V adapter is used for power supply.

EarthQuaker Devices is a young American crew from Ohio consisting of about fifty music fanatics and nerds who work together to create unique pedal effects. They have already won numerous awards such as "Best in Show" during the worldwide NAMM trade show and recognition from Guitar World and Premier Guitar magazines. The effects are user-friendly, practical and at the same time sonically revelatory and innovative. The manufacturers place great emphasis on the quality of the materials used and the overall workmanship, so the effects are built entirely by hand and each piece is honestly tested. Most pedals can be used in combination with any instrument from classical guitar to bass guitar to synths or samples. There really are no limits here.
