This set includes three rings and one inch ring.
The rings are primarily used in the bluegrass, country, folk and similar genres. However, they can also be used elsewhere. The main difference between the rings and the classic picks is that the picks are held between the index finger and thumb, whereas the rings are placed directly on the belly of the finger. Thumb rings tend to be made of plastic, while metal materials are more commonly used for the other fingers. Narrower rings are suitable for soft and quieter playing, while thicker rings produce a louder sound.
