But Cry Baby is one of them - these wah-wah pedals, based on a 1966 Thomas Organ design, have become a standard in the world of "quackaddles". Their users include the most famous musicians such as Jimi Hendrix or Eric Clapton, as well as thousands of semi-professional and amateur musicians. That alone speaks volumes about the quality of these wah-wah pedals.

The Buddy Guy Signature Cry Baby is the signature wah pedal of the famous American blues guitarist, whose contribution made the "quack" a staple of the blues syllabary. At first glance, it catches the eye with its polka dot design reflecting the artist's concert outfit. It features a Fasel coil circuit for a warm, sing-songy sound in the treble and two selectable wah effect mods - Deep with a big piercing wah effect sound and BG with a beautifully warm tone. The coloured LED indication on the side of the pedal will always reliably inform you of the selected mode, with a separate LED indicating pedal activation.

All electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. The box operates in Hardwire-Bypass mode, so it lets sound through even when the battery in the effect runs out. A 9V adapter or a 9V battery is used for power.
