Basses from the D-Roc Standard series are completely original instruments that stand out in design and technical performance. Dingwall uses hybrid manufacturing to assemble them, so although the individual components are made in China, the final assembly of the instruments takes place in Canada, where a team of skilled engineers takes care of every detail. This allows Dingwall to offer quality custom basses at an affordable price.

Sonically, they fall on the rockier side of the spectrum, but you'll definitely get more out of them than just the hard and heavy genres. The three FD-3N passive pickups feature neodymium magnets that give them an aggressive drive. However, with the four-position switch, you can choose the combination of pickups that will be most pleasing to your ear and suited to the style you're currently playing. Combined with the Tone Shutter, you'll be able to play around with different tone colours and get a wide variety of sounds out of the instrument.

The body of the instrument is made from African mahogany, while the neck is made from five layers of maple and fitted with a pau ferro fingerboard. Thanks to the multiscale design, each string of the bass has a different menzatura ranging from 864 to 940 mm, ensuring their optimal tension and precise intonation. Combined with Dingwall strings, you get a totally unique, perfectly balanced sound with warm highs and punchy bass that can handle any genre and will stand out in any circumstance.
