The D'Angelico Excel Gramercy Grand Auditorium CE Autumn Burst is a full-massive electro-acoustic guitar in the popular Grand Auditorium shape that will delight you with its beautiful design and warm, balanced tone. You will appreciate the acoustic qualities of this instrument when playing with a pick and finger technique.

The front of the guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back and sides of solid mahogany. The guitar's good acoustic properties are supported by the reduced X ribbing (Scalloped X). The mahogany neck with a "C" profile is fitted with an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by pearl position markers in the shape of small diamonds, while the lower body cutout provides a comfortable fingerboard even at higher fretboard positions.

The guitar's headstock and overall design offers a balance of modern minimalism and opulent Art Deco style. The strings are secured via a bone saddle and zero fret in Grover 109 Super Rotomatic tuning machines and an ebony fingerboard. The refined look of the instrument is accentuated by a rosette composed of black and mother-of-pearl rings, multi-layered body and headstock binding, gold-finished hardware, mother-of-pearl company logo and inlay on the headstock, ebony bracing cap and ebony pegs to the headstock with mother-of-pearl dots.

Fishman Sonitone electronics with Volume and Tone controls subtly set into the instrument's soundhole guarantee a quality acoustic sound.
