D'Angelico Deluxe Series guitars represent the best of the D'Angelico brand. In addition to superior craftsmanship, they boast features previously reserved only for the top-of-the-line D'Angelico limited edition models.
The Deluxe Brighton Black is an electric guitar in a stylish double-cut design. The narrower alder body with a deeper belly cut offers maximum playing comfort thanks to its ergonomic shape and lighter weight.
The three-piece maple and walnut neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Jescar 47/104 frets made of pakfong (nickel silver). The neck's narrow C profile ensures smooth finger movement on the fingerboard and a comfortable finish, while the fingerboard orientation is facilitated by Mother of Pearl/Abalone split blocks.
The two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers with gold caps offer the beautifully articulate tone of vintage PAF humbuckers, while also offering the crystal-clear tones of single-coil pickups thanks to the push/pull function of the tone diaphragm potentiometers. You'll appreciate the guitar's sound in blues, rock, funk and a wide variety of other musical styles.
Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the Graphtech TusQ zero fret in the Grover 509 Super Rotomatic Locking Mechanics and via the TOM cob in the truss rod. The beautiful workmanship of the instrument is accentuated by the Art Deco headstock decorated with mother-of-pearl company logo and inlay, body, fingerboard and headstock binding, five-ply pickguard with F-hole design imitating the cut-out of lube instruments and gold hardware.
The guitar comes in a deluxe hardshell case.
