D'Angelico Deluxe Series guitars represent the best of the D'Angelico brand. In addition to superior craftsmanship, they boast features previously reserved only for the top-of-the-line D'Angelico limited edition models.
The Deluxe Bedford Matte Walnut is an electric guitar in a stylish offset body design. The alder body with a deep belly cut offers optimum playing comfort. A three-piece maple and walnut neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Jescar 47/104 frets made of pakfong (nickel silver). The neck's narrow C profile ensures smooth finger movement on the fingerboard and a comfortable finish, while the fingerboard orientation is facilitated by Mother of Pearl/Abalone split blocks.
Two Seymour Duncan Stacked P90 pickups in a soapbar design give the guitar a beautifully clean, articulate P90 single-coil sound without annoying accompanying noise that you'll appreciate in country, funk, classic rock, rock and roll and many other musical styles. Adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls.
Strings are mounted across the Graphtech TusQ zero fret in Grover 509 Super Rotomatic Locking and Wilkinson 6-point tremolo. The instrument's fine craftsmanship is accentuated by the Art Deco headstock adorned with mother-of-pearl company logo and inlay, fingerboard and headstock binding, five-ply pickguard with F-hole design mimicking the cutout of lube instruments, and nickel hardware.
The guitar comes in a deluxe hardshell case.
