D'Angelico Deluxe Series guitars represent the best of the D'Angelico brand. In addition to superior craftsmanship, they boast features previously reserved only for the top-of-the-line D'Angelico limited edition models.
The Deluxe Atlantic Baritone Black is an electric baritone guitar in a stylish single-cut design. Of course, the longer scale (680 mm) is associated with the instrument's lower tuning.
The narrower alder body with a deeper belly cut offers maximum playing comfort thanks to its ergonomic shape and lower weight. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and walnut and is fitted with a twenty-two-fret Jescar 47/104 ebony fingerboard made of pakfong (nickel silver). The narrow C profile of the neck ensures smooth movement of the fingers on the fingerboard and a comfortable fingerboard, while the orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearl position blocks (Mother of Pearl/Abalone Split Block).
The two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers with gold caps offer the beautifully articulate tone of vintage PAF humbuckers with solid bass, while also offering tones with the character of single-coil pickups, thanks to the push/pull function of the tone diaphragm potentiometers. The guitar's sound can be appreciated in a wide range of musical styles.
Stable tuning and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the Graphtech TusQ zero fret in the Grover 509 Super Rotomatic Locking Mechanisms and via the TOM tailpiece in the truss rod. The beautiful workmanship of the instrument is accentuated by the Art Deco headstock decorated with mother-of-pearl company logo and inlay, body, fingerboard and headstock binding, five-ply pickguard with F-hole design imitating the cut-out of lube instruments and gold hardware.
The guitar comes in a deluxe hardshell case.
