Cort's X Series is a modern electric guitar primarily designed for hard/heavy music production, but you'll also appreciate its sound in classic rock and fusion. Thanks to their affordable price, they can certainly appeal to young aspiring rockers, but they won't offend experienced, technically proficient players either.
The X700 Triality is Cort's next step towards the higher-end model ranges with full pro specs, and one to be taken seriously. The ergonomically shaped body of the guitar is made of swamp ash. A five-piece maple and walnut neck is bolted to a maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-four stainless steel frets. The heat treatment of the neck and fingerboard gives the wood extra stability and a pleasingly golden look and feel. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by black position dots and luminescent dots on the side.
A Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbucker and two single-coils give the guitar not only awesome dynamics and precise tone articulation, but also a wide range of sounds. Push/pull volume and tone controls offer three different humbucker voicings (at switch position 5) - a vintage PAF humbucker, a "hot-rodded" humbucker with high output, and a single-coil voicing with a rewound coil.
Strings are mounted in the company's locking tuning machines and a recessed Cort CFA-III 2-point tremolo with steel saddles. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
