Cort's Sunset series presents instruments with an appealing retro aesthetic and modern sound character that, thanks to their affordable price and quality craftsmanship, are sure to appeal to young rock aspirants and experienced, technically skilled players alike.
Specifically, the Sunset TC model combines a single-cut body shape with the design elements and electronics of the T models. The body of the guitar is made of ash. The bolted maple neck is glued to a jatoba fingerboard fitted with twenty-two frets. The position blocks facilitate orientation on its surface.
The P-90-style VT90 neck pickup and Duncan Designed TE103B single-coil tailpiece give the guitar a wide range of tones suitable for classic rock, blues, pop, country or funk. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch. The strings are housed in a solid body and Die-Cast tuning machines. The stylish look is accentuated by nickel hardware and pickguard, which also protects the instrument's paintwork from scratches.
