Cort's Earth series is a range of well-crafted dreadnought acoustic guitars in both traditional and vintage styles. Thanks to their semi-massive body construction and affordability, they are a good choice for beginners and experienced players alike.
The front plate of the Cort Earth 60 OP model is made of solid Sitka spruce, the back plate and sides are made of plywood mahogany. This proven combination of woods gives the instrument a balanced sound with the necessary amount of tonal clarity and warmth. The natural resonance of the instrument is enhanced by the open-pore finish.
The mahogany neck is glued to a merbau fingerboard fitted with twenty frets, with positioning dots for easy orientation across its surface. The strings are mounted in a merbau fingerboard and the company's die-cast mechanics. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of a rosette composed of black and white rings, black body binding and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell.
