Charvel's Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR M Matte Blue Frost electric guitar features an early 1980s Strat/Super Strat design named after its place of origin - San Dimas, California.
The body of the guitar is made of alder. The bolt-on maple neck with graphite bracing offers a fast "Speed Neck" profile, and the fingerboard is fitted with twenty-two jumbo-sized frets. The fingerboard radius flattens towards the body - allowing for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions.
The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB TB-4(B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides a sound that balances aggression and warmth, while also providing the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. The instrument's sonic arsenal is expanded by the push/pull function of the volume control, where a flick of the potentiometer splits the humbucker coils and changes the character of the sound to single-coil. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock.
The strings are mounted in the company's die-cast drives and Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo, which will enrich your playing with impressive sound effects. Tuning stability when using the tremolo lever is guaranteed by the lock on the zero fret. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by the chrome hardware.
