Charvel's Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 PM REL SRS SD1 HH FR PF Weathered Black electric guitar features an early '80s Strat/Super Strat design named after its birthplace, San Dimas, California.
The alder body of the guitar features a Weathered Black finish with distinctive faux patina elements that give the guitar the look and feel of a heavily played and fate-tested instrument. A pau ferro wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two jumbo-sized frets is glued to a bolt-on maple neck with graphite bracing and a "Speed Neck" profile. The necessary playing comfort is provided by the rounded edges of the fingerboard and a radius that flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions.
The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB TB-4(B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides a sound that balances aggression and warmth, while also providing the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume potentiometer and the three-position pickup switch.
The strings are mounted in the company's die-cast mechanics and Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo, which will enrich your playing with impressive sound effects. Tuning stability when using the tremolo lever is guaranteed by the lock on the zero fret. The stylish finish is accentuated by black hardware.
