Charvel's Pro-Mod Dinky PM DK24 HH 2PT CM Bubblegum Pink electric guitar features a Dinky/Superstrat body design.
The alder body of the guitar is decorated with a glossy lacquer finish and Bubblegum Pink color finish. The instrument's maple neck and fingerboard were heat-treated before assembly, making the wood more stable while giving the guitar an exclusive look (Caramelized Maple). A definite plus for fast players are the rounded edges of the fingerboard, the contoured lower neck, the lower body cutout for easy matchmaking at higher fret positions, and the compound fingerboard radius (12-16 inches), which allows for comfortable riffing at the zero fret as well as comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions.
The combination of two Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers with Alnico magnets and a milder output signal gives the guitar a clear articulate sound with tight bass and suppressed mids (Full Shred TB-10) as well as a cool blues/rock feel (APH-1). Adjust the character of the sound with the volume potentiometer, no-load tone shield, five-position pickup switch (at positions 2 and 4 of the split-coil pickup configuration) and a mini switch that lets you toggle between series and parallel pickup connections.
The strings are mounted in the company's locking die-cast Gotoh Custom 510 mechanics and tremolo via a Graph Tech TUSQ XL zero fret.
