Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH 2PT CM QM CB is an electric guitar with a Dinky/Superstrat body.
The alder body of the guitar is decorated with a fancy maple top with wood grain enhanced by Chlorine Burst finish. The maple neck and fingerboard have been heat-treated before assembly, making the wood more stable and giving the guitar an exclusive look (Caramelized Maple). A definite plus for fast players are the rounded edges of the fingerboard, the contoured lower neck, the lower body cutout for easy matchmaking at higher fret positions, and the compound fingerboard radius (12-16 inches), which allows for comfortable riffing at the zero fret as well as comfortable ultra-fast shred at higher positions.
The combination of two Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers with alnico magnets and a milder output signal gives the guitar a clear articulate sound with tight bass and suppressed mids (Full Shred SH-10) as well as a cool blues/rock feel (APH-1). Adjust the character of the sound using the volume potentiometer, No-Load tone shield, five-position pickup switch and mini switch to toggle between series and parallel pickup connections.
The strings are held in the company's locking die-cast mechanics and Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo via a Graph Tech TUSQ XL zero fret.
