Chapman ML3 Pro are electric guitars in the design of single-cut T models from the higher Pro series, which with the quality of workmanship and the materials and components used will certainly appeal to a wide range of musicians, including the really demanding ones. These are modern instruments fitted with Seymour Duncan humbuckers tuned to the needs of players of contemporary rock and metal styles.
The ergonomically shaped body of the ML3 Pro Modern Habanero Orange Satin Metallic is made of linden. The neck and fingerboard of the instrument are made of "baked" maple. Heat treatment gives the wood an aged, golden appearance and greater stability. The neck is attached to the body using the set-thru method, i.e. it is recessed deeper into the body, the fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four Jumbo stainless steel frets. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by a distinctive mother-of-pearl inlay on the twelfth fret and side "glow-in-the-dark" dots, while the C profile of the neck and rounded edges of the fingerboard also contribute to playing comfort.
Two humbuckers from the renowned Seymour Duncan brand with Alnico V magnets and a milder signal (Medium Output) give the guitar a dynamic sound with a perfectly balanced ratio of aggression and articulation. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume and tone diaphragm potentiometers and a five-position "super switch" that offers coil-split configurations.
Good sustain and fast string changes are guaranteed by anchoring the strings through the TusQ XL zero fret in Hipshot Grip-Lock Open locking mechanisms with an 18:1 gear ratio and through the solid bridge through the body.
