Catalinbread NAGA VIPER MKII

Guitar Effect / HN268258
The Catalinbread NAGA VIPER MKII is a pedal effect inspired by the famous Rangemaster treble booster box used by Tony Iommi, Brian May, Marc Bolan, KK Downing and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest to bring out the juiciness of their already refined British instruments and achieve a more juicy hard and heavy sound. However, the world, even the music world, is half a century on and the pedalboard effect of today should be able to cope with all the rigours of complex pedalboards and wiring. That's where the NAGA VIPER MKII comes in.

Like the older version, it offers Range and Heat controls, with Range determining the frequency range (treble boost to full-range boost) and Heat determining the amount of gain (dirty boost to overdrive). The new controls adjust output volume (Boost) and input attenuation (Attn), giving the box circuitry room to do its job. You'll especially appreciate this feature in complex pedalboards, where the sound of a treble booster can easily be lost without attenuation.

All of the pedal's electronics are hidden in a solid metal chassis. The box is wired as a true bypass. A 9-18V adapter or 9V battery is required for power.
