Seydel Blues Session Steel harmonicas represent the next evolutionary step in the popular Session model line. These are classic "blues" harmonicas with Richter tuning, featuring ergonomic stainless steel covers for comfort completely rounded at the body in ABS plastic material, pakfong/alpaca plates, stainless steel screws and rivets, minimal air permeation and stainless steel heads for the clean full sound of Seydel 1847 harmonica models and up to five times longer life than brass heads offer. The instrument is supplied in a paper box with a leather case.
The tradition of C. A. Seydel dates back to the mid-19th century, when, after the decline of mining in Saxony, brothers Johann Christian and Christian August Seydel decided to devote themselves to the manufacture of musical instruments. Their factory in Klingenthal soon became the leading manufacturer of harmonicas in Saxony and the surrounding area. Since then, the company has undergone a series of changes and transformations depending on the social and political environment, the most significant of which was the reunification of Germany, after which the nationalised company was returned to the family in 1991. The established brand has not disappeared from the world and continues to offer musical instruments of Made in Germany quality.
