In addition, it also offers flagship digital preamp and effects models, the GR-300 guitar synth, and VIO Guitar's bow-mimicking sounds - all in a compact design that you can take anywhere.

A clear control panel lets you instantly change guitar and bass types without having to put down your instrument and swap it for another. Instead of long switches to drop or other alternative tunings, a few presses of the footswitch will be all you need. With the innovative Dual Guitar/Bass feature, you'll be able to combine elements of two different instruments into one to create entirely new hybrid instruments. String Bend technology allows you to easily change the tuning of any string. In short, the Boss VG-800 is a supercharged machine that offers a whole new range of possibilities and gives you all the gear you've ever wanted to own in one compact package.

On the rear panel you'll find a standard instrument input, stereo effects loop (Send, Return) and two outputs for mono/stereo connections (L/Mono, R/Phones) in addition to connectors for connecting a GM-300 guitar synthesizer. There are also two connectors for an external expression pedal or control switch, MIDI connectivity for connecting external control devices and a USB port. You'll be able to edit and organise all your sounds using the BOSS Tone Studio software, while the BOSS Tone Exchange platform allows you to download and share user Livesets with players around the world.

Attention! In order for the processor to work properly, it needs to be paired with the GK-5 (for guitar) or GK-5B (for bass) pickups, which are not included. Included in the package you will find a PSB-1U power adapter and four non-slip rubber feet.
