Boss RC-10R

The Boss RC-10R is the next evolutionary link in the development of the Boss Loop Station series. In a compact pedal effect body, it combines a two-track stereo looper with six hours of recording time and a drum machine that covers an almost complete range of musical genres with over 280 rhythm styles. Each style includes two selectable sections (verse/chorus) and rhythmic transitions (intro, outro + transitions within tracks). In addition, you have a choice of sixteen different drum kits, so you don't have to worry about not finding the right accompaniment for your song. Should such a situation arise, it's no problem to import your own rhythm into the looper and save it in one of the fifty user memories. The looper and drum machine can be used independently, but their full potential becomes apparent when used together.

Looper offers superior 32-bit audio quality, allowing you to layer loops without the need for compression. With a generous 6 hours of recording time, you'll never have to worry about running out of time when looping. Plus, you'll be able to store your recordings in 99 memory slots that can be backed up to your computer via USB - so you can keep all your musical ideas in one place, including your chosen rhythm track and drum kit.

All basic functions can be easily controlled using the two integrated footswitches. You can also connect two external footswitches (or one expression pedal) to the box. Owners of more advanced systems will also love the TRS MIDI interface, which allows remote control from MIDI controllers or MIDI synchronization with a DAW. To make sure you don't get lost in the plethora of features, the RC-10R features a clear LCD display and colourful Loop and Rhythm LED indicators so you can always keep track of recording, overdubbing, playback and the current status of the rhythm section.

Extraordinary flexibility in connectivity (Mono/Stereo inputs and outputs, MIDI compatibility, USB port, input for external footswitch/expression pedal) makes the RC-10R not only an ideal tool for home practice and composition, but also a full-fledged part of the equipment of buskers and other active musicians. The stereo outputs allow you to send a guitar signal and a drum machine signal to two different devices, as it's clear that each has different requirements for a suitable sound system. However, even if you don't have the option of using two PA systems, the RC-10R has a solution for you - you can optimise the sound of your guitar and drum accompaniment using the optional output filter to ensure that your final sound comes out at its best quality, even through a shared piece of equipment, be it a guitar combo, PA system or studio monitors.

The pedal is wired as a buffered bypass. The included BOSS PSA adapter is used for power supply.
