Description of product

The BOSS Delay DM-2W from the Waza Craft edition is the follow-up to the DM-2 delay pedal, which is still a prized and sought-after piece thanks to its discontinuation in 1984. The new version, perfected by experienced Japanese experts, offers a wider range of sonic possibilities that accentuate musical development.

The box with purely analog circuitry and a delay time of 20-300 ms captures the vintage DM-2 sound quite authentically (in Standard mode), while in Custom mode the cleaner sound and delay time of up to 800 ms more closely resemble the demands of today's musicians. By connecting an external expression pedal, the delay time of the effect can be adjusted in real time, and two outputs from the box can send out both the processed and clean/dry signal from the guitar at the same time.

The Delay DM-2W, like all current Boss pedals, operates in Buffered Bypass mode. It is powered by a 9V battery or 9V adapter (adapter not included).

The letter W at the end of the pedal name refers to the name of the edition - Waza Craft. It is a special series of effects that were developed under the strictest supervision of the most experienced sound experts of the entire Boss company in Japan. The term Waza means "art and technique" in Japanese. Simply a mastery that can only be gained through years of hard work.
